The Moth and the Flame (Pathe, 1915). One Sheet (27 X 41). This two-reeler serial from Pathe is different from the more familiar Sidney Olcott morality play of the same title. Now a lost film, this melodrama centered around the search for a lost child. This beautiful stone litho one sheet has edge wear and tears, fold separations with some tape on the back, and pieces of tape in the corners. There are a few scuffs and smudges, mostly from the printing process, and a hole near the second P in Patheplay. The frightening image of a frantic man finding the lost child has gorgeous soft muted colors that are still sharp and bright. Fine-.
