The New Frontier (Republic, 1935). One Sheet (27 X 41). John Wayne has to clean up the town of Frontier, Oklahoma in this action-packed B-Western, his second film for Republic Studios. The image of Wayne on this poster is considered to be one of his finest and this poster has become one of the most prized among all John Wayne collectors. The poster had a few very tiny nicks and tears in the borders, and a few small cross-fold tears prior to linen-backing. There has been some light color touch to the fold lines with a bit more to the upper center-point and there was a two inch tear in the a of Wayne. These defects were restored and the poster appears near mint. Very Fine on Linen.
