Arrested after committing the murder, they beat the rap in court, but soon find that they still must pay the price for their crime. Based on a novel by James M. Cain, the screenplay required a number of drafts over many years to enable it to conform with the Hays Code restrictions. This dark, dramatic one sheet has been professionally restored on linen.
