Stanley Leland Weed (who got the nickname Tumble Weed in the Army) came to Hollywood hot on the heels of the success of Gene Autry as a singing cowboy. With a name change to Bob Baker, he had a meteoric rise and fall in films, reaching the Top Ten of Western Stars in 1939. Within three years, he was playing unbilled fifth cowboy in the posse roles.

The Singing Outlaw (Universal, 1938). One Sheet (27 X 41). This one sheet from the heights of his career has pinholes and a couple of minor edge chips, and a small hole in both the horses head and the title. The poster has been mounted on linen and professionally restored. It has a beautiful appearance, with gorgeous color that seemingly jumps out of the poster. Fine+ on Linen.
