The Song and Dance Man (Paramount, 1926). One Sheet (27.5 X 41). , A Heritage first, this visually decadent stone litho one sheet is from the film version of George M. Cohans Broadway show. At the center of the poster, thats charmer Juanita Horton, better known as Bessie Love, so named by legendary director D. W. Griffith. Ms. Love performed the first on-screen Charleston performance a year before this film. There are post-restoration stains in the bottom border. Touchup has been applied to paper loss along the horizontal folds/misfolds, a chip above Loves elbow, a tear in the D of Dance into Moores head, a 1/2 of missing paper along the bottom border, a tear in the bottom border extending through the credits up to the horizontal fold, and a tear in the top left red background. Very Good/Fine on Linen.
