One Sheet (27 X 41). , This prized one sheet is from director John Hustons Academy Award winning epic based on the novel by enigmatic German author B. Traven (a pseudonym). Greed, lust and murder take center stage in this cinematic triumph set in the desert mountains of Mexico. Stars Humphrey Bogart and Tim Holt deliver stellar performances, as does Hustons father, Walter, who won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. The bottom left corner has had paper replacement in the white field only, and touchup has been applied to the folds, pinholes in the corners, a small chip in Tim Holts head, and tape stains along the folds. There is some bleed through of a rubber stamp on the bottom border. Superb portraits of the cast and good color make this an excellent find. Fine+ on Linen. , , Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
