She has to prove herself in court by defending a woman accused of murder and after she wins the case, proves herself to be a future wife to the DA as well. This was one of Shearers early films where she would establish her on-screen persona as a sexually-liberated and strong willed woman. It was a career move that would serve her well as she went on to be one of the most vibrant and successful leading women of the 1920s and 1930s. This gorgeous stone litho features the actress at the height of her career and in a very stylish swimsuit of the era. Other than a couple of very minor chips on the middle horizontal fold and along the upper right edge, this poster is in spectacular condition. Very Fine-.
