One Sheet (27 X 41). , Nicholas Ray, the force behind such classic noir as In a Lonely Place, Macao, On Dangerous Ground, etc... made his directorial debut with this tale of two lost souls (Farley Granger and Cathy ODonnell) who head blindly into a doomed love affair and crime spree. Similar to Rays quintessential masterpiece Rebel Without a Cause, which would follow a few years later, this early film is a striking look at the themes of isolation, fear, and hopelessness that would pervade his later work. This one sheet has a scratch in the credits and title area, pinholes in the corners and a few in the image, stains in the borders, and crossfold separations. Fine.
