Two Fisted Sheriff (Columbia, 1937). One Sheet (27 X 41). After being signed to a contract with Paramount in 1930, Charles Starrett would play many secondary roles until 1935. That year he signed a deal with Columbia to star in western films to replace the aging Tim McCoy and to compete with Republic and Gene Autry for the money they were making. This was one of the early films Starrett did for Columbia which would last for the next seventeen years and encompass some 115 westerns. This poster depicts a beautiful image of the young Starrett. This poster has been linen backed and prior to backing had some chipping in the border and some fold wear. With the restoration the poster now displays beautifully. Very Fine on Linen.
