While the Starlight Travels (Essanay, 1913). One Sheet (28 X 42). , One of the hardest eras of film poster collecting has always been the pre-1920 years. Here is a wonderfully drawn stone lithograph from an early Essanay film starring Richard Travers, Doris Mitchell, and Charles Hitchcock. It is unique that their names and characters played would be printed on the poster, a hold-over technique from stage plays. There is some edge wear with small tears on most of the foldlines, fold wear with small cross-fold separations, and an extra vertical creasing from when the poster most likely traveled in the film can to the next showing. Fine/Very Fine.
