Style D. , Perhaps one of the Marx Brothers last great comedies, as their advocate Irving Thalberg, legendary MGM film producer, died during production. Made just after the hugely successful A Night at the Opera (1935), this time the boys are trying to save a sanatorium from being turned into a racetrack. Offered in this lot is a fabulous poster with artwork by Al Hirschfeld, which we have never offered before. Other than a small cellophane tape stain in each corner and some minor fold wear, this poster was in nice shape before professional conservation has cleaned this poster to appear near mint. Very Fine on Linen.
