A Man of Honor (Metro, 1919). One Sheet (27 X 41). , This is silent screen idol Harold Lockwoods final film. After a successful run of over one hundred pictures in Hollywoods early heyday, the promising actor fell victim to the flu epidemic of 1918. Here he stars as David Smith, an innocent manager of a real estate scam on a deserted island. He refuses to go along with his bosss schemes, even though he has fallen for the mans daughter Christabel, played by another early silent star, Bessie Eyton. This rare one sheet is gorgeously rendered in stone litho and had tears in the image area and bottom border, and fold wear. These issues are no longer apparent after professional restoration and now it looks stunning. Very Good+ on Linen.
