British One Sheet (27.5 X 40). , Auguste and Louis Lumieres 1895 short black and white short film of a train pulling into a station (Larriv??e dun train en gare de La Ciotat) proved the power of moving pictures, as audience members were struck with fear and panic at the sight of a quickly approaching locomotive. The dynamic nature of trains in film remained constant in the early years of cinema, as they were featured in several Kalem productions. One such picture is A Railroad Wooing. While not much is known about the film, this gorgeous British one sheet features a double wedding in front of a train, as passengers look on. Offered by Heritage for the first time, the poster has pinholes in the corners, and minor fold separation. Folded, Very Fine.
