Alice in the Jungle (M.J. Winkler, 1924). One Sheet (27 X 41). Walt Disney arrived in Hollywood in the early 1920s featuring a pilot film called Alice in Wonderland with a live-action girl surrounded by a cartoon world. Distributor M.J. Winkler agreed to finance the shorts and the rest is history. This early Alice one sheet is believed to be the only copy from this short in existence. This one is signed in the print by Ub Iwerks and spelled Ub Iwwerks, the artist who later went on to draw the original Mickey Mouse. This poster is exceedingly rare and truly a museum piece. Fine/Very Fine on Paper.
