Alice in Wonderland (Eskay Harris, 1915). One Sheet (28 X 42). , Directed by W.W. Young and starring a young Viola Savoy, who spent the majority of her young life as a stage actress. Though she did reportedly 125 stage productions, she is known to have only done two films, both in 1915. This very early and wonderful adaptation of the Lewis Carroll novel was shot with relatively little in special effects and made use of elaborate costumes and sets. This is the only known one sheet from this film that were aware of. The posters borders were trimmed up to the artwork but not into it. There has been slight color enhancement to the red. It is a lovely stone litho image. Fine+ on Linen.
