One Sheet (27 X 41). , Heritage is pleased to offer one of the rarest Disney movie posters we have ever come across, the only known example of the one sheet for an installment of the Alice Comedies, a series of ground-breaking animated cartoons created by Walt Disney in the 1920s, in which a live action little girl named Alice and an animated cat named Julius have adventures in an cartoon landscape. Margie Gay plays Alice, and as the delightful graphics on this wonderful poster show, she competes in a golf tournament with a variety of cartoon characters. All film prints of this early cartoon classic have been lost, making this piece an even more unique collectible. The one sheet has been restored, but not paper or linen backed in any way, to address pinholes, small tears in the borders, and a misfold in the bottom section. Fine/Very Fine.
