This was actually something of a sci-fi film, also featuring Clara Bow, about an aging woman who volunteers for a medical experiment to restore her youth. This was one of Griffiths most famous roles. She did not make the transition to sound well, and made her last film in 1932. An astute businesswoman, Griffith, after leaving her film career behind, soon amassed a fortune in real estate holdings.
