Charge It (Equity Pictures Corporation, 1921). One Sheet (27 X 41). Clara Kimball Young started acting in 1912 for Vitagraph Studios and was skilled at both comedy and drama. In 1919 she starred opposite a novice by the name of Rudolph Valentino in The Loves of Sunya. Here, Young stars as the wife of a businessman who just manages to make ends meet. When he gets promoted to a higher-paying position, Youngs frugal ways go out the window, which leads not only to financial distress but also to a disastrous romantic fling. There are creases, tears, and pinholes. The poster has been professionally restored, rendering these defects very difficult to detect. This beautiful stone litho features a wonderful image of Young and depicts various curses of over-spending. Very Fine- on Linen.
