Charlie Chan at the Olympics (20th Century Fox, 1937). One Sheet (27.25 X 41). , This is one of the best Warner Oland as Charlie Chan pieces. It was set against Hitlers notorious 1936 Berlin Olympics, but managed to ignore the political turmoil of its day. Aided by his number one son (Keye Luke) and no less than the Berlin Police Department, Charlie foils an international plot that involves remote controlled aircraft. Stock footage of the dirigible Hindenberg was retouched by hand to obliterate the swastika emblazoned on the airships tail. A Heritage first, this one sheet features an excellent likeness of Oland. Restoration has addressed a chip in the bottom and top left corner, a crease in the bottom left corner, tears in the right border, and tears along the folds and misfolds. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
