One of the two films that fabled writing team Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur actually directed also. Its an existential murder yarn that has an arrogant attorney, Claude Rains, killing his mistress, Margo, and calmly arranging to cover the crime. But through some clever writing and direction, via Nietzche...and a stunning montage of the three classical furies flying through New York in search of a victim, Rains breaks down and confesses. Great one sheet featuring the three stars, and with its use of a lightning bolt separating Rains from the women, successfully hints at what is to come in the film. There is only edge wear with tiny chips in the borders, a small stain in the bottom border, and small smudges in the top image. Very Fine-.
