Deadwood Pass (Monarch, 1933). One Sheet (27 X 41.25). , Tom Tyler was a boxer and weightlifter when he entered films as a stuntman in 1924. He quickly rose to stardom at FBO studios, the forerunner to RKO, as a cowboys hero, even though it was said that Tyler despised Westerns and reportedly was terrified of horses! Tyler was one of the few cowboys to cross the silent range, maintaining his popularity well into the sound era. Small, budget-minded, Monarch studios produced this gorgeous one sheet that features a stunning stone litho image of the popular Tyler. The folds have been touched up, as have chips in the borders (left border chips extend into the D), pinholes in the corners, a tear in the right border, missing paper in the bottom border, and a tear from the D into the lower section.
