Bette Davis leads a superb cast in this gripping melodrama in which a music teacher (Davis) falls in love with a cellist (Paul Henreid), but at the same time, alienates her mentor (Claude Rains), a composer who is secretly in love with her. Jealousy flairs, leading to murder, tragedy, and heartbreak. Davis delivers a bravura performance in this exceptional tear-jerker, represented here by a beautiful one sheet. This poster shows pinholes in the borders and corners, a piece missing in the bottom right edge, some very light staining and smudging, and a pencil mark in the bottom border. Despite these minor flaws, this is a beautiful piece for any admirer of the lovely Ms. Davis. Very Fine-.
