Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe (Universal, 1940). One Sheet (27 X 41). Full-Color Stock Sheet. Buster Crabbe and crew take their final turn in this the last of the three Flash Gordon serials. The story deals with the Earth being hit by the Plague of Purple Death and Flash finds out its Ming the Merciless whos seeding the atmosphere with the plague dust. All of the posters from the Flash Gordon series are the toughest to find in the serial genre. Universal released posters done in Duo-Tone (two color) for most all of the chapters of their serials, but often the Stock poster was done in full-color. These posters are very rare and usually command a premium price amongst collectors. Very Fine+ on Linen.
