One Sheet (27 X 41). , Sessue Hayakawa was the first Japanese American actor to find stardom in the United States and overseas, thanks to his broodingly handsome looks and several roles in which he portrayed a sinister villain. His Birthright, however, finds him taking on the role of a young man in search of his American father, a lieutenant played by Howard Davies. He finds himself falling for Marian Sais, who turns out to be a spy wanting only to steal secret documents from Hayakawas father. This is the first time Heritage has offered this one sheet, which features a powerful stone litho image of Hayakawa. Prior to restoration, the poster showed tears in the upper border, multiple chips in the lower border, a small chip in a cushion, a chip in Hayakawa, and a bend in the lower right corner.
