Internes Cant Take Money (Paramount, 1937). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Writer Max Brand created the heroic Dr. Kildare in 1936, and the very next year, the young intern was seen on the screen in the person of Joel McCrea (replaced by Lew Ayres in later pictures), in the first film in what was to become an extremely popular franchise, eventually expanding into both radio and TV. The story revolves around a gangsters widow (Barbara Stanwyck) trying to recover her child, aided by Kildare. This highly desirable one sheet shows minor chips at the right edge, a minor hole in Stanwycks cheek and in the t in Take. These minor flaws have been rendered virtually invisible by professional restoration, returning a like-new appearance to this medical classic. Very Fine on Linen.
