Jerry and the Lion (MGM, 1949). One Sheet (27 X 41). , This delightful cartoon and its simple but effective plot had all the kids in the theatre cheering. Jerry helps a lion, who has escaped from the zoo and cant take captivity anymore. Jerry fakes his death to get away from Tom, and sneaks the lion onto a boat headed for Africa and bids him a tearful goodbye. A small fold separation at the top of the vertical fold mended with archival tape on the reverse and pinholes in the corners dont detract from the fun image. Fine/Very Fine.
