One Sheet (27 X 41) Style B. , The year 1939 was significant in motion picture history and one of its highlights was this Hollywood blockbuster tale of the legend of Jesse James. Henry King directs this Technicolor classic, which depicts James, played by Tyrone Power, as a Robin Hood of his day. Though based more on folklore than fact, the film was a huge hit for Fox and co-starred Henry Fonda as James younger brother, Frank. The posters for this film have always been infamously scarce and Heritage has only offered one other copy in its history. There were chips missing in the upper right and left corners, border only, and some tears along the top border, several just into the artwork. There were some small chips from the left border and at the horizontal folds as well as several tears that extended from the border just into the artwork. There are minor cross fold separations, and some wear to the center vertical fold. There was slight staining in the bottom border.
