Krazy Kat (Columbia, 1934). Stock One Sheet (27 X 41). , Cartoonist George Herriman gave the world Krazy Kat, the lovestruck paramour of the brick-throwing Ignatz Mouse. A long-running comic strip, its now considered to be one of the greatest examples of that art form. In 1925, animator Bill Nolan brought his vision of Krazy Kat to the screen, a version definitely not based on Herrimans creation. The design of Nolans Kat would change even more throughout the early 1930s, eventually becoming the more Mickey Mouse-like character pictured here. Only minor signs of wear are present, including pinholes in the borders, a stain in the bottom left, fold wear with pinholes in the folds, a gouge at the top center, extra folds, and creasing in the right border. Heritage has sold only one other style of stock one sheet for Krazy Kat, making this an irresistible find for animation fans! Fine.
