Madame Mystery (Path??, 1926). One Sheet (27 X 41). , A fun piece of film history. This was Vamp Theda Bars last film. It was a 21 minute short for Hal Roach, directed in part by Stan Laurel with Roach stalwarts Oliver Hardy, James Finlayson, and Martha Sleeper along to keep things jumping. The poster appears to be a stock poster, as Bara was raven haired! But the Morgan lithograph number 12778 clearly dates the poster as 1926. Its a true piece of film history as of all her films, this is one of the only survivors of the silent era even in fragmented form. There is only some border edge fold separations and a slight off register printing only in the bottom titles. Fine/Very Fine.
