One Sheet (27 X 41) Style A. , This pin-up art stunner is the highly coveted style A one sheet from Moon Over Miami featuring a gorgeous image of Betty Grable. The image holds a bit of mystery as well ---its creator is rumored to be either Alberto Vargas or McClelland Barclay, both active in poster design at the time of this campaign. Regardless, the beauty of this piece is undeniable, and it would make a magnificent addition to any poster collection. Prior to expert restoration, the poster had up to three inches of paper loss in the left and right sides going into the black background and credits, but not the image of Grable. Touchup has also been applied to fold wear, and two tears in the top border slightly into the background. There is a small post-restoration tear in the vertical fold. The masterful touchup to this piece has it in excellent display condition. Good/Very Good on Linen. , , Estimate: $10,000 - $20,000.
