Caption:
Old Man Rhythm (RKO, 1935). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Buddy Rogers was a rising star in the silent era with such films as Wings and would go on to work in sound films as a matinee idol. He would later marry Mary Pickford, eleven years his senior and would stay with her until her death in 1979. In this film he plays a college freshman whose father has followed him to the school and enrolled to keep him out of woman trouble. Songs include the title tune, plus When You Are in My Arms, I Never Saw a Better Night, Boys Will Be Boys, and Come the Revolution, Baby. Betty Grable has a small part as a student in the film and she sings and tap dances, making it easy to see why she would rise to stardom. Lucille Ball also has a bit part. This unrestored one sheet has pinholes in the corners and backgrounds, and small tears in the borders. Fine.
