The Olympic Champ (RKO, 1942). One Sheet (27.5 X 41). , Goofy has never been funnier than in this uproarious Walt Disney short, one of the best sports cartoons to feature the character. Utilizing his trademark slapstick humor, the anthropomorphic dog dispenses tidbits of interesting information about the tradition of the torchbearer, and events such as hurtling, the pole vault, the hammer throw, and the decathlon. John McLeish, narrator for most of the Goofy films, describes the action in his best documentarian manner. Never before offered by Heritage, this playful one sheet features images of Goofy in action, and showcases the characters giant grinning mug. Restoration has addressed a pinhole in each corner, and a small chip in the lower border at the vertical fold. Touchup has been applied to the folds, the linen is trimmed to the border, and there is a small post-restoration stain in the lower right corner.
