In the 1930s, RKOs answer to the Marx Brothers was the comedy team of Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey, whose verbal banter shines in this comedy about two battling partners in a stomach-remedy business. Rarely seen today, film historians rate it as one of the unsung gems still locked in the RKO vaults. On Again -- Off Again proved to be Wheeler and Woolseys next-to-last film, and also stars Marjorie Lord and Patricia Wilder. This one sheet shows some spot staining, light wrinkling, crossfold separation, and light soiling. There is tape on some edges and the back. Great colors and graphics. Fine.
