Prowlers of the Night (Universal, 1926). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Universal kingpin Carl Laemmle possessed no aversion to nepotism, and employed several relatives including nephew Ernst. It was he who directed many of the companys less popular cowboys, including Fred Humes in Prowlers of the Night. Humes is a sheriff wounded by a vicious bank thief, whos then lucky enough to be nursed back to health by young lovely Barbara Kent. Not previously offered by Heritage, this stone litho one sheet has retained its color extremely well, and has had the benefit of professional restoration. The borders have been airbrushed and fold wear and cross fold separation has been touched-up, leaving a very attractive, presentable poster. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
