One Sheet (27 X 41). , This Biblical epic of the ill-fated romance between Solomon, King of Israel, and the Queen of Sheba was an opulent production for Fox studios, and statuesque star Betty Blythe is given the royal treatment with a lavish wardrobe. Directed by J. Gordon Edwards, grandfather to director Blake Edwards, who helmed most of screen vamp Theda Baras films, the film is considered lost. This beautiful stone litho poster picturing Blythe, and Fritz Leiber as King Solomon, has been professionally restored to address a small tear in the top border, minor tears at the right border, with small areas of paper loss in the top horizontal fold, a small chip in the top right corner, and slight chips in the right and bottom borders. The poster now displays beautifully and is simply gorgeous in person. Fine+ on Linen.
