Skidding Hearts (Triangle, 1917). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Producer and director Mack Sennett was the king of comedy shorts, having created the Keystone studios, then later Triangle Films with D.W. Griffith and Thomas H. Ince, where some of the greatest legends of comedy got their start. Little is known of this early comedy short, but newcomer Ora Carew gets top billing and this sensational stone litho one sheet features a stunning full-color portrait of the popular comedienne. The poster has been professionally restored to address corner pinholes, fold wear with minor paper losses, crossfold separations, and two chips in the right border. It now displays beautifully and will be a highlight to any early comedy collection. Fine+ on Linen.
