Sporting Blood (MGM, 1931). One Sheet (27 X 41). , This gorgeous stone litho one sheet is from Clark Gables first starring role. After appearing in a number of films in secondary roles, the future King of Hollywood breaks out with lead billing in this story of a racehorse. This is the first time we have ever seen this very rare poster and believe it to be the only copy to have survived. Prior to the excellent restoration, there were pinholes in the borders, with a few scattered in the background. There was a tear in the center of the poster through the credits, and a small hole just above the bottom border. Minor touchup has been done to the white background around the horse at the bottom of the poster. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
