Caption:
Synthetic Sin (First National, 1929). One Sheet (27 X 41). , With a clever title, Colleen Moore fashions one of her best silent features. Moore was a fine young actress appearing in many early Tom Mix Westerns before bobbing her hair and re-inventing herself as a vivacious flapper. Here shes a distraught failing actress from a small town who travels to New York to live a life of sin and hot-cha-cha to better her acting ability. But, as in most of her films, nothing bad happens, and by the end of the movie she finds success while keeping her virtue intact. This pretty stone litho poster had a half inch of border replaced around the perimeter, and had minor fold wear prior to expert professional restoration. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
