In this fascinating documentary, the explorers travels reveal practices that would be considered quite strange and frightening to modern civilizations, including bull-baiting, fishing with narcotic substances meant to numb the fish, ceremonial dances, blow dart hunting, and the process of shrinking heads. What begins with the hope of finding a lost friend, concludes with de Wavrin making a discovery more horrific than he ever imagined.
