Caption:
The Bowery (United Artists, 1933). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Wallace Beery and George Raft star as two buddies living at the turn of the century who compete for everything in their Bowery neighborhood, including the love of Fay Wray. Beery is a saloon owner who is raising an orphan, Jackie Cooper and dares pal Raft to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge to prove his love to Wray. In a small bit part, Lucille Ball can be seen making her film debut. Paper from this title is rare indeed, and we are proud to offer this sensational stone litho artwork of Beery for the first time. It has been expertly restored to address tears at the crossfolds, minor crossfold separations with a few tiny chips, and small chips in the borders and two corners. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
