The Bronze Venus (Toddy Pictures, R-1943). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Lena Horne had her screen debut in 1938 with the release of the all-black musical, The Duke is Tops. In 1943 after her great successes in Cabin in the Sky and Stormy Weather, the film was re-titled The Bronze Venus, with Horne prominently featured in the ad campaign. Horne is effervescent in her youthful beauty and charm, and its reflected here in this colorful poster which is in nice condition. There are crossfold separations, and a couple of small chips in the left and right borders at the folds. From the Leonard and Alice Maltin Collection.
