Camels Hump, The (Bray Studios, 1925). One Sheet (27 X 41). Walter Lantz created some of the most beloved animated characters in movie history. Lantz introduced such timeless cartoon characters as; Andy Panda, Chilly Willy, and Woody Woodpecker. He was also responsible for the creation of the first Technicolor cartoon. This poster represents one of Lantzs earliest works that he not only illustrated, but wrote and directed as well. Also known as How The Camel Got His Hump. There is substantial paper loss on the borders, several tears and small holes. Fortunately most of the damage is on the blank white borders and background. The poster has been professionally restored, rendering these defects difficult to detect. To our knowledge, this is the only copy of this one sheet that exists. Fine on Linen.
