Caption:
The Cowboy Kid (Fox, 1928). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Handsome ex-college football hero Rex Bell stars in this Western romance, in hot pursuit of a posse of bank robbers, pausing along the way to woo the bankers lovely daughter. Although Bell appeared in another Fox production and a series of low budget westerns in the 1930s, major stardom eluded him. Bell is perhaps today best remembered as a one time lieutenant governor of Nevada and the husband of Clara Bow. Superb artwork on this stone litho one sheet captures Bell on his trusty steed, with his lady love looking on in the foreground. Before being linen backed, the poster showed pinholes in the corners, a small tear in the top border, and only a missing bottom right corner and chip in the bottom left corner prevent it from being graded much higher. Fine+ on Linen.
