The Dawn Rider (Monogram, R-1930s). One Sheet (27 X 41.5). , John Wayne chases after his fathers killer and winds up falling in love with a girl whose brother turns out to be the murderer. This Lone Star Western boasts a handsome stone litho one sheet, with Wayne taking care of business in bright, saturated color. Small chips, tears and torn pinholes in the borders have been airbrushed, and touchup was applied to the folds to minimize wear and tape lifts on the verso, and to a couple of spots in the lower red background. The poster now displays quite admirably. Fine/Very Fine on Linen. , , Estimate: $300 - $600.
