One Sheet (27 X 41). , Buck Jones, The Screens Ace Outdoor Star, was a well-known cowboy star for more than twenty years, playing a variety of characters, most of whom were named Buck. Jones was at the peak of his career when he died in the famous 1942 Cocoanut Grove fire in Boston, reportedly while trying to save other people caught inside. In this film he plays Buck Ward, a cattleman caught up in a long-standing feud with the Wolverine Kid. The stone litho printing accentuates the beautiful graphics of the poster, with several great images of Jones. Tape on the borders was removed and airbrushing was applied, and there was touchup to small chips along the folds. Fine/Very Fine on Linen. , , Estimate: $600 - $1,200
