The Jolly Jilter (Pathe, 1927). One Sheet (27 X 41). This rare poster is rolled and never folded. It came from the collection of an apprentice at Morgan Litho from the mid to late twenties. Ben Turpin will be forever remembered as the cross-eyed comedian of the silent age. His comedy was broad slapstick, written for him by some of Sennetts funniest gagmen, such as Frank Capra. There are nicks, tears, and pinholes on the borders and paper loss on the lower right corner. Offered here is a wonderful stone litho poster from one of his shorts, made for Sennett Studios. Rolled, Good+.
