The King of the Turf (FBO, 1926). One Sheet (27 X 41) Style A. , Kenneth Harlan and Patsy Ruth Miller are beautifully rendered on this rare stone litho poster from The King of the Turf . When this picture was filmed, Miller was fresh off of her success as a memorable gypsy girl, Esmeralda, opposite Lon Chaney in Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923). Miller never achieved superstar status as an actress, but when she retired from film in 1931, became a successful novelist and writer of librettos and short stories. A first time offer from Heritage, this piece is in remarkable condition given its age. Signs of light handling include edge wear with small tears, fold wear, cross fold separation, misfolds, and extensive writing on the verso, which does not affect the front. Fine/Very Fine.
