The Light of Western Stars (Paramount, 1930). One Sheet (26.25 X 40) Style A. , Based on a Zane Grey novel, Richard Arlen stars as Dick Bailey, a ranch hand who is out for revenge when his friend is murdered by the corrupt businessman Stack (Fred Kohler). Perky star Mary Brian plays Ruth Hammond, the new owner of Baileys ranch, who needs his help when Stack attempts to steal her property. In all, Arlen and Brian would star in eleven pictures together, and were a popular pairing for Paramount. This unique and gorgeous stone litho is a full-bleed one sheet, as originally printed and has not been trimmed. Paramount did these full-bleeds for only a couple of seasons before discontinuing them. It has been professionally restored to address a few small tack holes in the background. The lithographic colors are stunning and this gem will be a rare find for a lucky collector. Very Fine- on Linen.
