Caption:
The Making of OMalley (First National, 1925). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Milton Sills is brilliantly cast in this cop drama as Jim OMalley, a strict law abiding officer assigned to a school crossing in hopes of softening him up. After warming up to the gentle nature of the children and forming a romantic relationship with a schoolteacher (Dorothy Mackaill), he discovers one of the children is the daughter of a criminal sent to prison for bootlegging. Showcasing an exciting stone litho image of Sills wrestling a gun from a perp, this one sheet, offered by Heritage for the first time, had pinholes in the borders with one in the credits, a tear in the upper left corner, and a very small hole Sills. Restoration has addressed these issues, and touchup work has been done to the folds. Very Fine- on Linen.
