Caption:
The Plastics Inventor (RKO, 1944). One Sheet (27 X 41). , Donald Duck is up to his usual antics when he decides to build an airplane out of plastic and take it for a test flight; he is guided only by a radio program that is telling him the steps. This is a very rare Disney poster which Heritage has never offered before and the title is such a good one considering the date the short was released, as plastics use grew by leaps and bounds only during this time period of WWII. Carl Barks, who would later go on to Donald Duck comic book fame and his partner Jack Hannah were the writers on this short. Prior to professional restoration this poster had pinholes in the borders and background, small tears along the top border; with one extending into the upper image area, some slight fold wear with minor fold separations, small chips in the corners and borders with touch-up work along the folds. The poster displays magnificently! Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
